Matthieu Hobeika’s journey in finance began with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in the financial sector.
He started his career as a data analyst at CASDEN Banque Populaire, where he focused on statistical studies and data-driven decision-making. Seeking to start his expertise in sustainable finance, he transitioned to Philippe Hottinguer Gestion in 2023, an asset management firm specializing in European small and micro-cap companies. During his tenure, Matthieu gained valuable experience in integrating ESG factors into investment strategies, conducting impact assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance in the evolving landscape of sustainable finance.
In 2024, Matthieu joined Blufin, motivated by a desire to make sustainable investing accessible and impactful for all stakeholders. His goal is to contribute to Blufin’s mission of transforming sustainability from a regulatory necessity into a strategic advantage for investors and corporations, fostering responsible and ethical investment decisions.
Matthieu’s academic background complements his professional experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Statistics and Engineering. He is also a Certified ESG analyst as he holds the CESGA.
